The sets will be recorded straight to vinyl LP in real time. No computers, tape, or digital gear will be used in the recording. The artists will perform 15 minutes a piece with the recording engineers mixing and mastering the record as it’s happening. 500 units will be pressed on vinyl. No CD’s or digital copies will be manufactured or sold.

DJ Spinna came to Capsule Labs after his show at El Cid with Niteshift last friday to treat us with a rare underground set of tracks that he doesn't normally get to play in public.

"Though overall album sales dropped 13 percent in 2010, sales of vinyl increased by 14 percent over the previous year, with around 2.8 million units sold. We had an impromptu session with our friend Jeremy Sole tonight recording accordion riffs from Quantic Music and some basslines for his upcoming remix of Thievery Corporation. Dave De Cristo and Gil Tamazyan worked their magic on the console to capture an amazing recording in our newly remodeled sound stage.
