One of our favorites pieces of analog gear in the mastering rack is the Sontec EQ, a rare and highly prized mastering equalizer. Developed by Burgess MacNeal and George Massenburg, the Sontec EQ was originally designed for vinyl cutting but is known and respected in the mastering world for its musicality. Our unit is custom modified with Steve Firlotte blocks and an remote located power supply for even quieter operation.
